No, the E-reader is not waterproof.
You can load up to 3,000 books on the E-reader. And even if that's not enough, you easily expand the storage by inserting an SD card (max 32 GB - not included).
There are 2 ways to transfer e-books to the E-reader: Via USB cable and SD card.
- Via USB cable: Connect the E-reader to your computer via the USB cable (provided). Choose the e-book you want to upload to the E-reader and drag the file to the E-reader on your laptop. Place it in the 'Digital Editions' folder. When you disconnect the USB cable again, you will find the e-books in the Library of your E-reader.
- Via SD card: Using an SD card? If so, insert the SD card into your computer/phone and transfer the e-book file to the SD card. Then insert the SD card into the E-reader and find your new e-books in the Library of your E-reader.
