What exactly is a Weighted Blanket?

The name says it all - it is a blanket to which weight has been added. Thus, it is similar to a traditional duvet (or blanket), but the heavy blanket is filled with eco-friendly glass beads.

These beads are evenly distributed across the blanket by having a pattern of squares sewn into it, a technique also known as the pocket-design. Thus, the beads will never pile up in 1 corner of the blanket.
